CynaminArt as a concept existed for a while before becoming a reality. Sally
Wellbeloved worked in the corporate field for a variety of companies including
South African Breweries, which is owed a huge debt of gratitude as it was here
that Sally won her first digital camera in an internal photographic competition,
and never looked back! Since then she worked for an aerial photographic company
where she learned the ins and outs of the business before taking the bold step to
create her own company.
Sally has a keen eye for detail and is able to easily cross boundaries between a
wide variety of photographic subject matters and styles. She has turned her eye
to portraiture, architecture, aerial, wedding, sports and landscape photography.
Each medium offers unique challenges and provides opportunities for learning and
stretching of artistic boundaries. Photography, art and people have always been
her passions, and CynaminArt provided the perfect opportunity for her to combine
these passions into a photographic & canvas printing business.
Sally is a member of the Cape Town Photographic Society, winning gold awards for
a variety of her images. She attended Constantia Waldorf School and completed a
BA in Psychology and Sociology (cum laude) from UNISA.

Ken Metcalf is a part-time member of the business, and jokingly refers to
himself as the Chief Cook and Bottle Washer (not that we have many of those
around) and Bag Carrier (very useful trait to have). He assists on various
shoots and contributes with some great images as well as his wealth of technical
skill.
Ken attended Grey Collage and has Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Commerce &
Information Systems from UCT & UNISA.
Thank you to all those who have supported CynaminArt to develop into what it is
today, we couldn’t have done it without you!
